The Black Student Union strives to provide a safe space for Black/African American students to unite, have a voice, and discuss culturally relevant experiences to create a sense of belonging, community, presence and empowerment on the GCC campus. Additionally, the Black Student Union seeks to provide a platform of resources and leadership experiences for Black/African American students and share our rich culture with the GCC community. The Black Student Union will offer support for the various racialized macro-and-microaggressions, and challenge each other toward centering the liberation of ALL Black/African American people.
