ASGCC Cancer Awareness & Prevention Event on October 14th
Join the Associated Students of Glendale Community College (ASGCC) for an important educational event focused on cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection. This one-hour program is designed to provide students, faculty, and staff with valuable information about reducing cancer risk, recognizing warning signs, and accessing resources for support and screening.
The event will feature a presentation by the GCC Health Center, highlighting practical prevention strategies, lifestyle tips, and the importance of regular screenings. Attendees will also have an opportunity to hear personal stories, participate in open discussions, and learn how small actions today can make a big difference for their long-term health.
In addition to informative presentations, participants can connect with on-campus and community resources, receive free educational materials, and pick up awareness ribbon pins and stickers. Subway sandwiches will be provided while supplies last.
