Mission: The Live Studius Initiative supports student success through empowerment, accessibility and advancement. We are working to provide innovative students with access to educational tools, mentoring, financial assistance, and opportunities which will allow them to pursue new ideas and ultimately achieve their goals. Mission: The MCAT, being one of the most important parts of the medical school admission's process is one of the first challenging obstacles that every pre-med student has to encounter. Depending on the results, it can either make or break our application. Our club stands for making students confident in their skills by helping them, as well as ourselves, prepare for the exam sooner than most. Therefore, increasing our chances of getting accepted into our dream school. Every meeting will consist of a thorough analysis of the four different sections of the test, and best preparing ourselves through the use of different studying techniques and resources. We will spend a portion of our time completing trial problems in order to build our analytical and comprehension skills, as well as enough stamina to stay concentrated throughout the seven and a half hour exam. Although we may not be taking the exam in the near future, it is good to develop somewhat of a study schedule, even with it being a few hours every couple weeks. Our goal is to encourage each other within our community to succeed in the long term.

Mission: The Glendale Community College Pom Squad is a student-led Woman centered dance club dedicated to promoting school spirit, teamwork, leadership, and athletic performance through pom dance. Pom is a style of dance that combines sharp, synchronized motions, precision, clean technique, visual formations, and the use of pom-poms. Performances may include elements of jazz, hip-hop, kick, and other dance styles while emphasizing synchronization and energy. The GCC Pom Squad is not a cheerleading team. Members do not perform stunts, tumbling, pyramids, or partner lifts. Instead, the organization focuses on dance performances that entertain and engage the campus community while representing Glendale Community College with professionalism and pride. The purpose of the Pom Squad is to provide students with opportunities to improve their dance abilities, develop leadership skills, build friendships, and encourage school spirit throughout the campus. The squad serves as ambassadors for Glendale Community College by performing at athletic events, including football and basketball games, pep rallies, campus celebrations, student organization events, community outreach events, and other college-sponsored activities as approved by the college. The Pom Squad is committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and respectful environment where members of all experience levels are welcome.

Mission: Since 1986, the Scholars Program of Glendale Community College seeks to provide an optimal college experience among its students, which it carries out through three main elements: academics, service, and cooperation. First, the Program offers lower-division and general-education Honors courses. Second, the Program aspires to strengthen the character of each student through noteworthy experiences that aim to promote self-growth and involvement in the community. Third, the Program fosters collaboration, bonding, and friendship. As such, the Program strives to guide and prepare students for transfer to a college or university and to help them achieve success in their future careers.
