The Society of Women Engineers (SWE)

Mission: The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at Glendale Community College is dedicated to
empowering women and underrepresented students pursuing engineering, technology, and
STEM-related fields.

SWE fosters a supportive and inclusive community that encourages academic excellence,
leadership development, professional growth, mentorship, networking, and community
engagement. Through workshops, partnerships, professional development events, and
outreach, SWE connects members with internships, scholarships, opportunities, and career
resources while inspiring and equipping future leaders to make meaningful contributions
in STEM.
