Mission: The GCC Chess Club is a club where students can visit, learn, and have fun playing the game of chess. Regardless of whether you are new to the game or have experience, there is a place for everyone. We are committed to teaching strategic thinking, patience, and problem-solving skills through friendly games, puzzles, and hosting fun tournaments. We play on a regular basis, offer advice, and give each other support as players. The club also promotes teamwork and a sense of community in which students can take a break from school pressure and stay mentally sharp. Chess is not just an over-the-board game, it is a way to connect with other people and challenged yourself in friendly games while learning in a friendly environement.
