Mission: The GCC Mentorship Club is dedicated to empowering students through collaboration and mentorship, as well as guest speakers who will come and give the students insight into topics that they may be interested in. Our club's goal is to focus on the students' needs by allowing them to have a safe space to collaborate and give each other advice, as well as having a guest speaker with credibility to come and help give the students insight into any challenges they may be facing, whether academically, personally, or career-wise. The interests I will be fulfilling are the interests and needs of my peers in terms of needing guidance from someone who's been in their shoes. I know what it is like to have no mentor and coast through life with no one to guide you. This appeals to students who would like an extra perspective and insight into their journey through life, as well as help bring new insights and thoughts to their journey.
